This is a new favorite for me, and welcome addition to 1st-Line’s product list. With a Lelit Mara HX, Caffe’ Vergnano Espresso Classico produces a very full-bodied, low-acid espresso with substantial dark tan crema and silky, creamy mouthfeel. As a point of reference, I favor Miscela d’Oro Gusto Classico, for many of its comparable characteristics (full-bodied, low acidity, great crema). The touch of chocolate emerging from the background is the main thing that distinguishes the Vergnano. Brilliant.
