Lelit 9700050 Steam Boiler Safety Valve – 3 bar, 1/8″ M
This safety valve (9700050) is for the Lelit Bianca (PL162T) & Mara X (PL62X) espresso machine models. Crescent wrench typically needed ~5/8″ (~16mm). Take out from bottom nut, not the top barbed nut. If this part leaks steam, it means the boiler is overheating from limescale on the PID sensor and the steam boiler gauge is over 3 bar.
If leaking steam when the boiler is under 3 bar on the steam boiler gauge, then it means particles from limescale or oxidation keeping the valve open.

I read it’s good practice to replace this valve at same time as vacuum breaker valve since if one goes due to scale and buildup, the other likely has same scale and buildup. Easy replacement.
