    Fall in Love 🍂 with These Two Espresso Recipes

    September 2020 has arrived, so Fall is just around the corner. The weather will start getting chilly, so it is the perfect time to warm up with some of our favorite Fall espresso recipes! Whether you have a traditional espresso machine paired with an espresso grinder or a super-automatic espresso machine (one-touch), you will be able to whip up these drinks in no time!

    P.S. These drinks are for the 21+ crowd (sorry kids)!

     

    Pumpkin Pie Espresso

    Pumpkin pie will surely gear you up for the Fall time! All you need is the following:

    • Make a shot of espresso.
    • Pour in 1-2 oz of pumpkin pie cream liquor.
    • Enjoy!

     

    Spiked Pumpkin Spice Latte (PSL)

    The PSL is an absolute classic Fall beverage. But the way you can upgrade it from the famous drink at Starbucks is to add some pumpkin spice liquor AND save $6 for a Grande. All you need is the following:

    • Pour 1/3 cup of cold milk in a steaming pitcher. 
    • Pour 1-2 oz of pumpkin spice liquor in the same pitcher.
    • Make a shot of espresso.
    • Froth your milk mixed with the pumpkin spice liquor.
    • Add the frothed milk to your espresso.
    • Enjoy!

  • St. Patrick’s Day Cold Brew

    St. Patrick’s Day Cold Brew

    Need a jump-start to your St. Patrick’s Day? This cold brew recipe is definitely will have you doing an Irish jig down the sidewalk in no time! It’s perfect if you’re looking for a festive St. Patty’s Day beverage with a slight spin off the the traditional Irish coffee (but if you’d like to stick to tradition we have a whole recipe for Irish Coffee here!) Super easy to make, this cocktail uses cold brew coffee, and a touch of stout, Irish cream, as well as Irish whiskey of course!

     

     

    Ingredients

    3 oz of cold brew coffee

    1 1/2 oz Irish whiskey (we used Jameson)

    2 oz of stout (such as Guinness)

    1 oz heavy cream

    1/2 oz Irish cream (we used Bailey’s), or yo your taste

    3/4 oz brown sugar simple syrup

    Ice

     

    1.) To make simple syrup, stir equal parts brown sugar and hot water until fully dissolved. Pour syrup, whiskey, and cold brew into a mug.

    2.) Add ice. Top with Irish stout, give a gentle stir to incorporate.

    3.) Mix heavy cream and Irish cream together, adjust the ratio to taste. Once combined, splash on top of the drink and watch some beautiful marbling happen!

    4.) Hold your drink up high and cheers! Sip and enjoy responsibly.

  • Peppermint Mocha

    Nothing feels more festive in the wintertime than a Peppermint Mocha!

    Here’s a super simple recipe to warm your bones.

    Ingredients:

    • 1-2 shot(s) of espresso
    • 1 cup of milk
    • 1 1/2 tbs semi-sweet chocolate chips
    • 1-2 tsp. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla extract
    • 1/2 tsp. peppermint extract
    Toppings:

    • Whipped Cream
    • Chocolate syrup
    • Peppermint sprinkles!

    Instructions:

    1. Add 1/2 tbs of chocolate chips and 1 tsp. sugar to shot class, let espresso pour over. Stir to help melt chocolate. Pour into mug.
    2. Add milk to frothing pitcher and approx. 1 tbs of chocolate chips per cup of milk.
    3. Add 1 tsp. vanilla extract and 1/2 tsp peppermint extract. Froth away!
    4. Once frothed, use a spoon to assure chocolate has melted. Pour frothed chocolate milk into mug.
    5. Top this delicious concoction with some whipped cream, chocolate syrup, and sprinkles!
    6. Enjoy!
