piersonmike1 (verified owner) –
I recently purchased this Lelit Fred grinder for espresso making at home.
The Lelit products are 1st class, and Fred made all the difference in my results!
I now get the perfect brew pressure, perfect grind, excellent results!
Highly recommended!

Been using this machine now for a month. Grind is beautifully fine and consistent. Machine is handsome and plenty powerful. Hoping it’ll sit on my counter for many years to come. A step up from our old grinder, it’s made our espresso life even better. Machine came well packed and in perfect condition, ready to run right out of the box, with just a little adjusting for grind. Completely satisfied.

I bought this grinder at the same time I bought a Bianca machine to have a matching set. The machine is absolutely wonderful but this grinder is not substantial enough at all. The stainless steel exterior feels very thin, the plastic of the hopper (should have been glass) is also very thin and flimsy. It has no weight to it so it has to be up against a wall or back splash or it would just be knocked over by the portafilter when you are trying to engage the button. It is also very loud but the grind is consistent so far +/- 2 weeks. I like the aesthetic but I would pay $100 more if the metal were 5x thicker the hopper was made of glass and the unit weighted at least 10 pounds. But I have it now and I’ll have to run it into the ground before I will be able to justify spending more $ on a grinder.
Matthew Gibble –
I just bought this grinder a few weeks ago to pair with my Lelit Anna machine. First time purchasing high end machines so I’m still figuring the bugs out. But so far I’ve been very happy.
I’ve only had a few minor issues. One is that is seems to be a bit messy if grinding directly into the portafilter. So we’ve been grinding into an egg cup and then transferring to the portafilter.
One other thing and I’m posting so if others run into this they can remedy the situation. The button over the phillips head screw in the hopper disappeared! I was mildly alarmed as I thought it must have gotten ground with the beans. But later on I found it in the hopper. So the great news is that the button is larger than a bean and can’t be ground. So if you lose the button cover to the phillips head screw, check the hopper!
