Chemex Classic Series Coffeemaker
The Chemex Coffeemaker was invented in 1941 by Dr. Peter Schlumbohm Ph.D., made simply from non-porous, borosilicate glass, that is heat resistant and fastened with a wood collar and tie, it brews coffee without imparting any odors or excess oils.
Chemex Classic Coffee Maker has no parts to plug in and no settings to program. This inventive coffee preparation features the most chemically correct method for brewing a robust cup of coffee.
Simply pick your filter, add the grinds, pour boiling water into the filter and make your desired amount.
Includes a polished wood collar with a leather tie.

Notes:
- Dishwasher safety: When placing your Chemex Classic Series Coffeemaker in your dishwasher, place it away from anything else. This is to help avoid it from hitting any other items. Also, remove the wood handle from the coffeemaker.
- Stovetop use: Do not place the Chemex Classic Series Coffeemaker directly on an electric coil stovetop. We recommend using the Chemex stainless steel wire grid (TKG) between the kettle and the coils to prevent breakage and personal harm.
- Filters: For the 3 cup coffeemakers, use the FP-2 filters. For the 6, 8, or 10 cup coffeemakers, use the FS-100 (pre-folded square bleached), FSU-100 (pre-folded square unbleached), or FC-100 (pre-folded circle bleached) filters.
